The Federal Systems Division of Compunetix specializes in the design, manufacturing, installation, and lifetime support of its mission critical voice communications systems. These platforms are used for the aerospace, military, civilian government, emergency response, and other markets where reliable mission critical communication is a necessity.
The conferences that are run through a mission voice system are created by combining the audio from selected sources. This is done within the central voice switch. For this task, Compunetix offers the fully digital CONTEX MVP (Mission Voice Platform), an extremely flexible mission voice switch that has powerful configuration and diagnostic capabilities. With the CONTEX MVP, a variety of different types of conferences can be created to interconnect telephones, mission consoles, and radios in virtually any combination. The MVP ensures highly secure communications in various ways. Operators can compartmentalize voice by assigning security levels and domains to resources such as conferences, ports, administrators, and end users.
The MVP system utilizes cutting-edge technology to meet the most demanding mission critical application requirements. The different MVP chassis configurations support both smaller and very large port capacity applications with mission-critical reliability, rich features, and a small footprint. This allows mission participants to meet in a secure fashion at any time, from anywhere in the world, to support real-time critical missions.
Earlier this year, Compunetix was proud to announce the sale of its 400th Mission Voice Platform! This noteworthy deployment is for Lockheed Martin ADP (Advanced Development Program) in support of their UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) programs. Compunetix Federal Systems Division Manager, Tony Grieco put it best by saying:
“In hitting this milestone, I believe the MVP has become the predominant mission voice system sold in the U.S.”
First launched in 2012, the MVP and has since undergone continual updates and upgrades, including adding numerous additional capabilities. Since its inception, the MVP has also been deployed in numerous command center applications throughout the United States and abroad for American and foreign military and government applications, including test ranges, training ranges, space launch support, emergency management, satellite control, air sovereignty command, and air traffic control.
