Our successful partnership with the USDA began in the early 2000s when they started using branded, white-glove conferencing services from Chorus Call, a Compunetix company. With remote collaboration gaining popularity, Compunetix was asked to submit a proposal for on-network conferencing capabilities. In 2011, we installed our first platform on the USDA network at their facilities in Washington DC. This conference system was heavily utilized for the next 7 years. Later, we moved the conference solution into our hosted data center outside of Boston and we have been providing network and support for the conferencing services for the USDA ever since. Today, Compunetix provides the underlying platforms and technology that enables the USDA to provide multimedia conferencing and collaboration services to its personnel.
Compunetix is exhibiting at the USDA’s Virtual Tech Expo today and tomorrow. The exposition will feature innovative technology such as: Mobile Computing, Networks, Hardware, Security, Big Data, and much more. Click here for more information about the event!
