Innovating Autonomy with Communications: Compunetix at the AUVSI Pathfinder Symposium 2024
The AUVSI Pathfinder Symposium, August 26 – 28, 2024 is set to be a pivotal event in the field of Uncrewed and Autonomous Systems. This August, the symposium will bring together over 600 experts from the Department of Defense, federal agencies, industry, and academia at the Von Braun Center in Huntsville, Alabama, to exchange ideas and drive innovation in this critical field. The event, organized by the AUVSI Pathfinder Chapter, is a prime opportunity for these experts to exchange insights, address capability gaps, and foster education in cutting-edge technologies.
The theme of this year’s symposium, “Innovating Autonomy,” emphasizes the event’s focus on exploring groundbreaking solutions and technologies in the realm of autonomy and uncrewed systems. Over the years, the Pathfinder Symposium has established itself as a premier event, nurturing a dynamic atmosphere of learning and discovery. This year, the tradition continues, inviting attendees to contribute to conversations that will shape the future of uncrewed systems and autonomy.
Compunetix is proud to be an exhibitor at this event, where we will be showcasing our Mission Critical Voice Communications (MVP) System. The MVP system is a proven solution for Department of Defense (DoD), space launch, and intelligence applications, including UAV command and control. Our longstanding commitment to the UAV and autonomous systems community is evident through our continuous participation in major industry events, including the AUVSI XPONENTIAL, where we have been exhibitors since 2010. At the 2024 AUVSI Pathfinder Event, we look forward to engaging with innovators and discussing future communication needs for UAV command and control.
The MVP system we will be highlighting at the symposium has become the standard for DoD UAV command and control. It is ideally suited for both military and commercial UAV applications that require secure, coordinated communication among operators, stakeholders, and regulators. The growing use of UAVs in military operations, such as in recent conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East, highlights the increasing importance of secure communications in managing the crowded airspace shared by both manned and unmanned aircraft.
As UAV usage expands into commercial applications, the need for reliable mission critical voice communications will become even more crucial. The airspace, traditionally dominated by manned aircraft, is becoming increasingly populated with UAVs of varying sizes and control requirements. This evolving landscape demands coordinated communication systems that can ensure the safe and efficient operation of UAVs alongside manned aircraft. Compunetix MVP system is well-positioned to support this growth, offering a robust platform for UAV command and control communications that integrates multiple red/black VoIP and TDM voice sources.
At the AUVSI Pathfinder Symposium, attendees will have the opportunity to hear firsthand the capabilities of our MVP system. We will be demonstrating our latest GTX MVP software managed MC (Desktop and Rack-Mount) end point instruments (EI) and GTX PC – a virtual voice console. Compunetix offers users a range of choices from our ergonomic and economical PC-based GTX PC to the more robust hardware EIS to support Red/Black voice communications. These voice consoles and three MVP choices in ATCA cabinets enable Compunetix to be the one stop supplier for both commercial and DoD UAV applications.
As the density of aircraft in our skies continues to increase, the need for coordinated communications among UAV operators, commercial aircraft, the FAA, tower controllers, and other regulators becomes ever more pressing. Compunetix Mission Voice Platform and voice consoles are designed to meet these challenges, providing the necessary tools to manage the growing complexities of UAV operations.
We invite all attendees of the AUVSI Pathfinder Symposium to visit us at Booth #38, where we will be available to discuss how our systems can support your UAV operations. Whether you are involved in DoD missions or commercial UAV applications, Compunetix is here to provide the solutions you need for effective command and control communications. Join us in Huntsville to learn more about our offerings and to explore how we can help you navigate the future of uncrewed and autonomous systems.
