Federal Systems Division (FSD)
Applications Engineer – FSD is currently seeking an Applications Engineer to oversee the technical management of customer orders. Responsibilities for presales activities will include technical equipment demonstration, developing solutions to meet customer requirements, site surveys, and development of technical content/system drawings for use in proposals. Post sales activities include technical communication with the customer as the primary POC, entering customer orders, oversight of production schedules, project management activities, and coordination of customer acceptance testing. On-site activities typically include sales demonstrations, equipment installation and training, and technical customer support. Requirements include a BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or other technical discipline, 2-5 years of experience in a technical role, and the ability to travel 30% of the time. Experience in IT, networking, or electronics hardware design is a plus. **US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED**
Account Manager – Responsibilities include contract management/procurement duties, research/respond to customer requests for technical information and requests for other customer support and business-related information, sell/process system orders for additional expansion equipment and system upgrades, manage annual warranty renewals and repair requests, deliver sales presentations and assist with trade shows, customer events, and equipment demonstrations, online and in person, and coordinate account management activities with Program Manager, engineers, and others. Requirements include a BS in business or in a technical field and 2-7 years of professional sales experience. Proposal writing experience is a plus. The candidate must have excellent communication skills (verbally and in writing) and will write technical proposals as well as give both sales presentations and equipment demonstrations. Knowledge of MS Suite, a willingness to learn new sales tools, and the ability to travel up to 25% is required. **US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED**
Training & Documentation Specialist – Compunetix is currently seeking a trainer and documentation specialist. Responsibilities include researching, writing, and reviewing technical documents (maintenance manuals, release notes, white papers, etc.), user manuals, and quick reference guides. Reviewing existing documents for accuracy and usability, conducting customer training on products and internal operations training classes as needed. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing or in a technical discipline (i.e., Computer Science), 1-5 years of experience in documentation design, 1-5 years of experience researching and writing technical documents, user guides, quick reference cards, training manuals, release notes, white papers, etc. Proficiency working with Adobe Creative Cloud applications (Illustrator/Photoshop), Adobe FrameMaker, and MS Office applications is required. Solid verbal and written communication skills including a strong command of grammar, strong organization, and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently, and travel 10% of the time is required. **US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED**
General and Administrative
Accountant – Qualified accountant to work in both the accounts receivable and accounts payable departments. Accounts receivable duties include entering shop orders, issuing invoices, and analyzing work in process. Account payable duties include matching receiving records with invoices, vouching, and paying invoices. Other duties may include preparing financial statements. Requirements include a BS in accounting, experience with accounts receivable, accounts payable, and financial statement preparation, proficiency with Word and Excel, attention to detail, self-starter, and excellent interpersonal skills.
Instrumental Systems Division (ISD)
Quality Assurance Inspector – Responsibilities include verifying that received material meets the requirements specified on the purchase order/drawing(s), and/or specification. Ensuring assembled printed circuit boards, cables, and mechanical assemblies are as specified on the drawing(s), parts lists, and/or specifications, assembly workmanship complies with approved workmanship standards and/or specifications. Approving/rejecting items and records inspection disposition information, reviewing traveler, inspection record, missing material report, and closing transfer for completeness and accuracy. Maintaining files necessary to provide proof of assembly, inspection, and test of completed assemblies, assisting assembler and inspectors to identify components/hardware, reading/interpreting assembly drawings, specifications, and standards. Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred, a minimum one-year technical experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably including visual inspection, knowledge in IPC workmanship standards, familiarity with rulers, pin gauges, micrometers, and calipers. Basic computer skills and excellent written and verbal skills are required.
Maintenance Specialist – Compunetix is currently seeking a Maintenance Specialist to perform duties including plumbing, painting, electrical, HVAC, and grounds keeping. This role must also maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and install all production equipment, and perform renovations and upgrades to the facility. Requirements include a Vo Tech or technical school certification in general maintenance, facilities maintenance, and/or plumbing/HVAC services. Previous facility maintenance experience is preferred, but not required, and ability to occasionally lift 50 lbs., follow directions, and be a team player. Must have a valid driver’s license.
Shipping, Receiving, Inventory Clerk – Seeking a clerk to work in the shipping, receiving, and inventory department. This individual will be responsible to pack product, complete carrier shipping, unload/receive packages at the dock, handle internal/external deliveries, data entry, maintain neat/orderly inventory, properly prepare and carefully store finished goods/components for inventory, pull kits and components as needed, and count incoming material. Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, previous Shipping & Receiving experience preferred, strong computer skills (Excel & Word), valid driver’s license, forklift experience is a plus, and ability to lift up to 50lbs.
Compunetics
Machine Operator (Manufacturing) – SECOND SHIFT – (Monroeville) – We are currently seeking an individual to perform operations of equipment. Responsibilities include operating several pieces of equipment based on work instructions and hands-on training, loading/unloading product from machines, performing basic PM tasks, setting equipment including retrieving files from company network, tool set-up, evaluating of first article, and monitor quality of items produced. Requirements include a High School Diploma, a minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, and familiarity with CNC or PC controlled equipment. CNC programming or CAD skills a plus, and basic computer skills required. Ability to follow detailed instructions, complete basic production documentation, and to lift 40lb.
PCB Operator – SECOND SHIFT – (Murrysville) – We are currently seeking an individual to operate equipment and perform printed circuit board manufacturing functions in a production environment. Responsibilities include operating equipment in the chemical area and performing hands-on tasks. Primary tasks include operating DES line, gold plating, cobra-bond coating, plasma etching, ability to follow work instructions, and ability to evaluate quality of product. Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent required, Vo Tech or Associate degree preferred, experience working in a manufacturing environment, and ability to follow detailed instructions, complete basic production documentation, lift 30lbs, and engage in repetitive tasks. Good hand-eye coordination required.
