Compunetix will be exhibiting in Booth #4611 at XPONENTIAL 2024 (April 23-25, 2024). The event is being held at the San Diego Convention Center, and represents one of the largest gatherings of the commercial UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) community. We will be demonstrating a fully operational Mission Voice Platform (MVP), which has become a standard for DoD UAV command and control. MVP is well positioned for adoption for commercial UAV applications requiring coordinated and secure communication among the UAV operators, stakeholders, and regulators. Compunetix proudly joins this live, in-person event with our proven MVP voice communication products for you to demo.
XPONENTIAL is an event that brings together the entire unmanned systems community to share ideas, collaborate across markets, capitalize on best practices and emerging trends, and harness the power of unmanned technology. AUVSI held the 2023 XPONENTIAL convention in Denver last year, bringing together thousands of attendees and hundreds of companies to discuss a path toward autonomy. The show’s main feature was the release of AUVSI’s ‘Blueprint for Autonomy’, a 43-page document that lays out next steps in areas such as technology, operations, airworthiness standards and integration.
XPONENTIAL 2023 brought a strong return of in-person presence to the forefront. Exhibitors from all over the globe, including Korea, Germany, Spain, and Switzerland, Israel, and Turkey were in attendance. Several Canadian companies were present as well.
Australia-headquartered, Advanced Navigation, presented multidomain positioning solutions. Many of these companies have opened U.S. offices to serve supply chains and end users while vying for accreditation by the FAA, Department of Defense, and other regulators. That is no surprise—when it comes to autonomy, drones span the world. XPONENTIAL 2024 participation is expected to increase in San Diego and include domestic and international representation.
Compunetix proudly continues to participate in the on-going growth in the Commercial UAV market and applications. We offer a proven platform for UAV command and control communications with our mission critical voice communications for command control, including unmanned aerial vehicles. Compunetix systems enable access, control, and monitoring of multiple red/black VoIP and/or TDM voice sources. Voice communications have proven to be a critical component of Command and Control for Department of Defense UAV applications.
Though commercial UAV usage is in its infancy, its popularity can increase the density of aircraft that are in the sky. UAV crafts of varied size and control requirements will grow in the future as their usage and number of applications increase with time. While small drones can be flown by line-of sight control, there is an expected boom in the usage of UAVs for deliveries of packages, medicine, etc. This will require mission critical voice communications to manage the already crowded air space that is occupied by traditional manned aircraft which are controlled by large FAA regulated airports and smaller regional airports towers.
Please feel free to stop by booth #4611 to learn and speak with us about our advanced communication system. We will have a full Mission Voice Platform [MVP] Demo System with Mission Control end instruments and accessories for you to try. MVP is the recognized market leader for DOD UAV command and control. This year Compunetix will highlight and demonstrate our GTX PC which is both ergonomical and economical for commercial and DOD UAV applications. As we are beginning to see, when the density of commercial aircraft, and UAVs in the airspace increases, the need for coordinated communications among stakeholders [UAV operators, commercial aircraft, FAA, tower controllers and other regulators]. Our mission voice platform and voice consoles are well suited to support growth in the UAV market.
